Bio

David Varnagy, MD, FACS is a bilingual board-certified Vascular Surgeon. He was born in Venezuela and received his Medical Degree from the Universidad Central de Venezuela with multiple honors and recognitions. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, FL, and then went on to complete his fellowship in Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapeautics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark, NJ. He was also trained in Vascular Ultrasound obtaining the Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) Certification by The American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). As a recognized expert in vascular surgery, Dr. Varnagy has been an active participant in conferences throughout the country and internationally, and has been published in several medical journals. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and a member of the American College of Surgeons, Peripheral Vascular Surgery Society, American College of Phlebology and the Society for Vascular Surgery.
